Cafe stamp templates

The logo, custom and text layouts below work for cups, cards and bags; click one and it opens in the editor. Short on ideas? Tell the AI logo stamp maker something like "round stamp, steaming cup, name on top, city below" and polish its draft here.

Templates are starting points. Click one to load it into the editor above, then replace the text with your own details.

What to put on a cafe stamp

Cups and cards are small, so each stamp should say one thing well. Here is what usually earns a place.

Cafe name

Short names work best on curved text. Long names can drop "Coffee Co." on small stamps.

Example: Little Ember Coffee

Icon

A cup, bean, leaf or kettle: one bold shape that still reads at 10 mm.

Example: Steaming cup outline

Tagline or location

Gives the lower arc a purpose and helps customers find a second branch.

Example: Mill Street · Since 2019

Social handle or website

Useful on bags and bean packs that leave the shop.

Example: @littleember.example

Roast date and origin

For cafes that sell beans, a blank line for the roast date and a space for the origin.

Example: Roasted on ___/___ · Origin: ________

Drink marker words

One word per stamp for cup marking at the bar.

Example: DECAF

Stamps a coffee shop uses

A busy bar needs fast, single-purpose stamps. Borrow the wording below and adjust it to your menu.

A tiny cup or bean stamp, one press per drink. For earning rules that stay quick at peak times, read about rush-hour loyalty stamp programs.

Size, shape and ink for cafe stamps

Paper cups curve, sleeves are rough and loyalty boxes are tiny. Size each stamp for its surface.

Size

Loyalty marks of about 10 to 15 mm fit eight to ten boxes on a business-card-size card. Cup sleeve logos are typically 30 to 45 mm; bean bags can take 50 to 60 mm. Drink markers work at 15 to 20 mm.

Shape

Round logos sit well on curved cups. Square stamps fill loyalty grids neatly, and rectangles suit tickets and roast-date labels.

Ink color

Dark brown or black reads best on kraft sleeves. For black cups or dark bags you need a light ink, and for digital use a light version of the artwork; see digital stamps on dark backgrounds.

Legibility

Bold, simple letters survive the curve of a cup. Skip thin script fonts on anything smaller than 30 mm.

Logo and bilingual layout

Tea houses and cafes in bilingual cities often run the name in two languages, one on each arc; Arabic and other right-to-left scripts are supported.

Where cafes use stamps

Behind the bar, on the counter and online.

Cups, sleeves and bags

Stamping plain stock is an easy way to brand small orders of packaging while you test a new look.

Beans and merchandise

Roast-date stamps for bean bags, logo stamps for tote bags and paper tags for mugs.

Menus and social posts

Drop the transparent PNG onto menu boards, price cards and posts. If a white square shows up behind it, read how to export a transparent stamp without a white box.

Frequently asked questions

How big should a coffee loyalty stamp be?

Count the boxes on your card. Around 10 to 15 mm suits eight to ten boxes on a business-card-size card without overlapping the edges.

Can I stamp paper cups directly?

Yes, on the outside wall, below the rim. Use a quick-drying ink and test a few cups, because some coatings smear. Sleeves are easier to stamp than cups.

Can I use a sustainability or Fairtrade logo?

Only if you hold the license and follow the owner’s artwork rules. Otherwise, describe your sourcing in your own words instead of using their mark.

How do I get the logo at different sizes for cups and menus?

Export once at 10x for the sharpest PNG, or resize the stamp image for each use. SVG scales to any size without losing quality.

What does it cost?

Designing is free. Exporting once costs $2.50 for PNG, $2.90 for PNG, SVG and EPS, or $3.50 for all six formats. If you plan several stamps, unlimited plans are $15.90 per month, $119 per year or $299 for lifetime access.

Which physical stamp suits a coffee bar?

Your local stamp maker can produce it from the SVG or EPS file. Small self-inking stamps are quickest for loyalty cards and drink markers; a wooden-handle stamp works for bags.

Do bakeries and restaurants use the same stamps?

Many overlap. Bakeries add bread bags and baked-on dates, covered by the bakery stamp maker. Kitchens add prep labels on the restaurant stamp templates page. Cafes selling merchandise can borrow return stamps from the shop stamp maker.
