Size, shape and ink for hotel stamps

Guest-facing pieces carry your brand, while back-office stamps need space for handwriting.

Ovals and circles suit a hotel’s emblem on stationery. Rectangular stamps hold the lines needed on folios, vouchers and room sheets.

Size

Logo stamps for notepaper and envelopes are often 30 to 40 mm; amenity boxes and bags can take 45 to 60 mm. Folio and status stamps of around 50 × 25 mm leave room to write.

Ink color

Gold, navy or deep green ink can echo your interior palette on guest pieces. Black or blue reads best on folios and photocopied housekeeping sheets.

Legibility

Use a refined serif for the brand mark and a plain sans-serif for working stamps. Staff should be able to read a room number on a crumpled sheet at a glance.

What size works for an amenity or laundry tag stamp?

Measure the tag or box. A 30 to 40 mm logo fits most paper laundry tags, while boxes and gift bags can take 45 mm or more.

Can we stamp fabric laundry bags?

Yes, with a rubber stamp and a textile ink from your stamp supplier. Keep the design bold, because fine lines bleed on fabric.

Can our tax number go on the paid stamp?

You can add it for reference, but the stamp does not turn a receipt into a compliant tax invoice. Issue invoices from your property system in the format your tax authority requires.

How much does it cost?
