Lay out your engineer stamp, with name, discipline and license or registration number, in a browser-based seal maker, then add the review and document-control stamps your drawings pass through. Begin with the custom stamp templates and export a crisp file for plots, PDFs or a rubber stamp.

Pick a template lower on this page to load it here, or start typing on a blank round stamp. The stamp maker editor guide shows how arcs, borders and text sizes work.

These layouts cover personal seals and office stamps; open one and swap in your details. If you would rather describe a review stamp in a sentence, the AI custom stamp maker drafts a layout you can then correct in the editor.
Templates are starting points. Click one to load it into the editor above, then replace the text with your own details.
Whoever licenses you, a US state board, an engineering council or a building authority, decides what the seal shows. Take the wording from your license or your board’s rules, not a colleague’s old stamp.
Spelled exactly as on the register. Some boards accept initials with the surname but not nicknames.
Example: Maria L. Okafor
The protected wording your license or registration allows, such as Professional Engineer in the US or Chartered Engineer in the UK. Do not add a title you have not been granted.
Example: Professional Engineer
Where boards license by branch, it tells a plan reviewer whether the seal fits the drawing.
Example: Civil / Structural
The number your regulator issued, with the jurisdiction or body where that helps: a state board in the US, PEC in Pakistan, COREN in Nigeria or the PRC in the Philippines.
Example: License No. 54321, State Board of Engineers
Where firms are registered too, the firm number usually goes on an office or title-block stamp, not inside your personal seal.
Example: Okafor Structural Consultants · Firm Reg. F-1234
Many boards expect a handwritten or digital signature and date across or beside the seal, so leave room for both.
Example: Signed: __________ Date: ___/___/____
A design office rarely gets by with one stamp. The personal seal is used sparingly; the others mark the steps a drawing goes through. Paste the wording into the editor and adapt it.

Drawings get plotted, reduced, scanned and reprinted. The stamp must still show every digit of the number.
Personal seals are usually round, often with two concentric rings. Review and title-block stamps work better as rectangles, since checkboxes read left to right.
Round seals commonly measure about 38 to 51 mm (1.5 to 2 inches). Some boards set limits; Texas, for instance, caps engineer seals at two inches across. Review stamps with four checkboxes need roughly 60 × 40 mm or more.
Black reproduces best on plots and scans. Red or blue makes a review stamp stand out against black linework. Leave the aging effect off sealed sheets.
Sets are often printed at half scale, A1 down to A3. Use plain capitals, keep the number as large as the name and check the preview reduced.
Keep logos off the personal seal unless your board allows them; put the firm logo on review or received stamps.
The same design can be pressed on paper, placed on a PDF or inserted into a CAD title block.
Final sheets, calculations and specifications carry the seal, signature and date. For electronic sealing, your board sets how files are signed.
Stamp each shop drawing with the review result, then add a stamp to a PDF when the package arrives electronically.
Inspection stamps on field notes and reports make the visit record easy to find during an audit or dispute.
Received stamps on transmittals and RFIs show who held the paper and when.
Note the wording, size and shape your jurisdiction expects.
Click a round seal or a rectangular review template above, or start from a blank stamp.
Type your name, legend and number, set the diameter in millimeters and zoom in to check each character.
Preview free, then export a transparent PNG at 1x, 3x or 10x for PDFs and CAD, or SVG and EPS for a stamp maker.
Usually your name as licensed, a legend such as Professional Engineer, your license number and often the jurisdiction or discipline. Your board’s rules decide the exact content.
You can recreate the layout your board prescribes at the right size. SealsDigital does not approve seals, so compare the result with your board’s published design first.
Commonly 1.5 to 2 inches (38 to 51 mm). Some jurisdictions set a maximum or exact size, so confirm yours and match it in the editor.
Yes, place the transparent PNG on review copies, reports and submittals. A formally sealed electronic drawing usually also needs a secure digital signature applied with separate software.
Press it on white paper, photograph it straight on and extract a stamp from a photo. Then rebuild it in the editor for sharp text.
Design and preview cost nothing. A single export is $2.50 for PNG, $2.90 for PNG, SVG and EPS, or $3.50 for all six formats. Unlimited plans are $15.90 a month, $119 a year or $299 for life, with designs saved to My Library.
Architects use their own registration seal; see the architect stamp maker. Contractors mostly need company and delivery stamps, covered by the construction stamp templates.
Each page has its own templates, required fields and layout advice for that line of work.
