Example: BDS, MDS (Orthodontics)
Some countries reserve specialist titles for dentists on an official specialist list. If you are not on one, "General Dentistry" is safer.
Example: Consultant Orthodontist
The line people check. Name the body that registered you, such as a State Dental Council in India, the General Dental Council in the UK or a state dental board in the US.
Example: Reg. No. A-4521, State Dental Council
Patients and labs often know the practice first. Add a short address and the reception number.

Example: Signed: ____________ Date: ___/___/____
A dental office rarely manages with one stamp. The chair, the front desk and the lab each need different wording, so split the details across small designs.

Plan for narrow prescription pads and lab dockets handled with gloves on. For more on layouts, see how to design a medical seal.
Rectangles suit prescriptions, lab orders and receipts. Save a round design for the practice seal on letters and estimates, with the name on the arc.
Prescription and lab stamps of around 45 × 18 mm to 58 × 22 mm fit most pads; appointment cards take about 40 × 15 mm. Round practice stamps are commonly 30 to 40 mm.
Blue makes an original prescription easy to tell from a photocopy; black scans more cleanly. Red suits a PAID mark that reception should notice.
Use a sans-serif font and keep the registration number no smaller than the address. Condensed or decorative type slows down a lab technician.
A simple tooth outline survives stamp size; detailed 3D artwork smudges. Keep the logo in color for screen files and one ink color for a rubber stamp.
One design covers paper at the chair and files you email.
Stamp prescriptions and referral letters to oral surgeons or orthodontists, so the other clinic knows who to call.
Place the transparent PNG on a digital lab form, or stamp the docket that travels with impressions.
Finish a typed plan, then add a stamp to a PDF before emailing it. Consent still needs the patient’s own signature.
Mark radiology reports as received. The article on clinic stamp setup for chart sign-off suggests wording that leaves clinical judgment with the dentist.
Click a template above, or begin with an empty rectangle for a prescription stamp.
Enter your name, degree, council number and practice, copied from your certificate.
Match the millimeter size to your pad, then zoom in on every digit.
The preview costs nothing. Save a transparent PNG in 1x, 3x or 10x resolution, plus SVG and EPS for a stamp shop.
Typically five things: name and title, dental degree, council registration number, practice name and a reception phone. A specialty line is optional and only for those entitled to it.
If it is recognized where you practice, yes. Two degrees fit on one line; a list of fellowships belongs on your letterhead.
You can place the PNG on any PDF. Whether a stamped PDF counts as a prescription depends on local e-prescribing rules; labs mostly need clear identification.
Press it on white paper, photograph it and use the tool to extract a stamp from a photo. Then retype the text in the editor so it stays sharp.
Designing and previewing are free. You pay per download: $2.50 for a PNG, $2.90 if you also want SVG and EPS, $3.50 for every format. A busy practice may save with $15.90 a month, $119 a year or $299 once.
We produce the artwork only. Hand the SVG, EPS or PDF export to a local stamp shop and tell them the size in millimeters.
